Steers and Stuff Turquoise Mountain Sterling Earrings

I fell in love with these amazing little tiny, sculpted steer skulls by artist Christina at Creative Castings. She does amazing work! They sat on my bench for a while, taunting me. Then I saw an old movie post for a Roy Rogers film and knew right away I wanted these to capture that feel, but with a little bit more “grit”. I hand-carved the backplates and created the rope borders. The icing on the cake is the addition of the Turquoise Mountain turquoise cabochons. These gorgeous stones come out of Arizona and are the best robin’s egg blue! Perfect for you or the western aficionado in your life!
